I finally replaced the tires on my Maxima, after 4 years and 50,000 miles. The old tires were Continentals that came on the car when I bought it. They endured 1 year at the drag strip, handled great in the snow, and lasted a lot longer than I had expected.

Today I bought four fresh BFG Traction T/A tires, and had them installed at work. I had originally wanted to get either Toyo Proxes 4, or Yokohama Avids. But after checking the surveys of high performance all season tires on Tire Rack's web site, and checking prices, I went for the BFGs.

Hopefully they will live up to my expectations.

I'd keep an eye on the way the tread wears on those. I've had many a customer complaint about the way they wear.
