The BBQ/Car Show/Swap is going to be a NICO community event.
It isn't funded by any one person or organization.
So we will ALL need to pitch in and help out.
We will need BBQ Supplies, Food and Drink.
- BBQ - I'm trying to find a park that has one built in already
- Charcoal / Propane
- Lighter Fluid
- Hamburgers
- Hot Dogs
- Hamburger & Hot Dog Buns
- ICE
- Coolers
- Sodas/Juices & other drinks. (Not sure if Alcohol is allowed wherever we're going though)
- Aluminum Foil
- Garbage Bags
- Paper/Plastic Cups & Plates
- Napkins
- Ketchup/Mustard etc...
- Chips/Cookies or any other snacks
- Pretty much anything you want to eat/bring
- We'll most likely be at some kind of park, so if you want to bring games, cards etc

I was told that Fontana Village was 22 miles from town.
So we should probably hit up a store before we get to the hotel.
Lonestar & I rented cabins with kitchens and a fridge, so we can store food at our cabins.
If anyone else has a Fridge in their room, LMK if guys can store food in your fridge.

cool, so should everyone post up what they're bringing so we don't end up with 5,000 solo cups and a pack of hot dog buns?

I am looking into group rates for servicing at Hunt Nissan in Chattanooga. If anyone may need fluids changes, balancing, etc, etc,
So if anyone is coming through the Chattanooga area let me know how many and if you have any basic service needs.
I'm like Hunt Nissan's adopted child lol. So they make sure friends and myself are well taken care of.
Don't know that I can make it out on Friday but Saturday will fit in on my schedule. Hope to meet ya guys. This will be my 1st meet. But like my 80th time on the Dragon. 1st time with the Altima though. And yes NO CROSSING LINES you'll get binned badly. The local law enforcement also has cameras and random road stings setup. And the tickets on the TN side are high dollar+impound sometimes...... Just so ya know. Let's have fun

Seeing that this is supposed to be annual makes me very happy. Unfortunately I have a bad caliper right now and I'm waiting on new brakes to come in. That, combined with work, school, etc, I won't be able to come this year. This past month I've been seriously thinking about making a trip down there in 2011. If there's a NICO meet again I think that would definitely make me go.

I plan on showing up for the Saturday noon show/meet/drive. I have never done anything like this but it looks like everyone be will cool to hangout with.

Knoxvillenismo- Were going to have about 30-35 cars up there.
Just bring what ever you can.
I don't expect one person to provide for everyone.

Another person will bring drinks as well.

370 beach bum - GREAT!!! I get to drool on your car!!!
Are you going to meet up with the Southern/FL Caravan?
If so check the 1st post, I posted my # and email up.

Actually check the "Nico TOTD info before you go" Thread

I can't wait to see the 370z and some of these great cars in action on the Dragon!

However, if I had a 370z I would replace the pads with some Hawk, EBC, etc and change out the fluid with some Motul.

Car show - Nico Baller Award, Longest running Non-running Ride Award (probably me lolz), Farthest Travelled,Most Creative swap,
BBQ - They were talking about KOA Campground in TN, might be one closer to Robbinsville.
Photo shoot – Someone bring a wide angle lens!! Some HD video cameras
Cruise - The Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Fugitive Dam
Swap meet - Bring your extra parts & Bring your Cash!!

i think this is the closest to a schedule of events that has been set so far. sil240 will probably be the one to set it in stone tho.

No times as yet.
Approximately noon Saturday is the BBQ etc.
No one has given me any feedback so I'm just throwing out sometimes.

Friday should be arriving @ around 12 noon.
Then I'm sleeping everyone else can do whatever.
Then I'm gonna wake up get some food.
Saturday @ noon BBQ, car show, and swap meet
Then cruise after. Dinner at the mountview restaurant.
Sunday more cruising. Someone mentioned day strip.
Lakeapooloza is going on.
Monday @noon leaving.

Yeah if you guys want to plan some stuff out, LMK!!!
I definitely don't have any time coming up to do ANYTHING.
Between working, school and getting the car running, I haven't scheduled any time for sleep.

So please post up ideas, if you need any info from me text me or email me.

jgaspohl- You'll have lots of room for the swap meet in the Xb.
Surprisingly those things are HUGE inside.

Knoxville - You still have time to swap gearboxes..

ONLY 5 MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!!
