trust me... i have done lots of research while being here in Iraq.I know about the torque rating for the clutch and i know about the 1200cc injectors for E85.twin disc clutch and 8 800cc injectors should cover that

funny thing is i got my exedy clutch 2-3 years ago when i had the stock turbo and i finally installed it a few months back when swapping things over to my new shell. its a stage 1 and its good for like 230 lb ft. now that i decided to upgrade my turbo, i hope to be at roughly 400 hp in a few months after a tune. we'll see how long that clutch takes it

finally after 3 months, i recieved my package from Full-Race. Luckily everything was correct the first time.

GT3071r twinscroll turbo, dual wastegate twinscroll manifold, and 3" gen2 downpipe:

V-band clamps for turbo/downpipe

i also recieved my Tomei oil block distributor for my oil relocation/cooler set-up. this makes it easier for oil pressure gauge connection and its cleaner than those oil sandwich plates, but was a little pricy

well the Full-Race turbo setup with the apexi downpipe and exhaust was 5k alonebut hey quality parts so you only have to do it once is the way i look at it

while i do believe in qaulity parts of course, full race just seems a little silly to me. you pay out the a** for some of the piping alone.

its really there R&D your paying for... no one out there makes a manifold like that.

and it comes with a lifetime warranty iirc

it wont break... v2 lets you keep AC....and of course its twin scroll.

my point exactly... don't get me wrong i love fabricating my own stuff but there are certain things that i would rather buy when it comes down to how long i can keep those high hp goals

i'm not denying that full race makes some of the best stuff out there. the manifolds are engineered very well, i just can't justify $1000 + for a manifold, even though its equal length. my log manifold was 1/3 of the cost and i like the fact that a log mani will spool faster.

the stuff that i think it a bit ridiculous is $350 for a downpipe it doesnt even go back to the cat iirc.

the full turbo kit doesnt seem to be a terrible price, my similar setup of gt30, fmic, tial 38mm wg, manifold and exhaust cobra cost $1500.

i'm not by any means dissing this setup i just think that for some pieces you pay for the name

life is good but for some people it is better. a log manifold makes me happy even if i secretly masturbate to that twin scroll manifold. not everybody is baller.

thanks for sharing your build!

Its definatly gonnna be sweet when its done and I can't wait to see the finished product, but 10k in just parts.

I have about 13k in my entire car(includes buying the car and s14 sr motorset) and it should be making 400 at the wheels(I'll know for sure in about 2 weeks) and the only ebay parts I have are the front mount kit, turbo elbow, and down pipe.

Killer parts listman...isn't that a blacktop though? I thought only blacktops had ridges in the front of the head.

expensive as hell fo sho... but on that note.

If I was building a high hp setup... I'd start with an lq4 or an ls motor.high hp sr20's are expensive. I prefer stock SR and nice wheels... over high horsepower.

but to each his own.
