that actually isn't a sensor, it's part of the idle assembly, that connector breaks for almost everyone.

basically, it's just turned on when the compressor kicks in, to raise the idle. no need to fix if you don't have ac, don't try to remove it just leave it as is. might be ok w/o it even w/ ac but you might stall occasionally if it kicks in at idle or when decellerating or something, depending on your luck and how well the engine is running.

It's a silencer....

I think I have the EXACT same parts you do. SSA exhaust, manifold, O2, FMIC. Only difference is you got an S14 coldpipe.

Yeah I know we have almost the same parts haha, you were the one who recommended i get these instead of that super duper exhaust kit from ssauto. So C-Rad when is your car going to be up and running? I'd like to compare how your ca18 handles with mine since they will be pretty much similiar

And yeah thats a silencer, can be easily removed to have a 4 in opening....

Sign in people; anyone who -didn't- have that sensor broken on their clip raise their hand. Anyone? ANYONE? Yeah, I think its some Japanese practical joke where they smack that thing with a hammer before exporting CAs.

Mine was not broken... and its called a AAC.

Also, I would have thought that sensor would have something to do with the warm-up idle mode when you first start up your car after it has been sitting for a few hours. But then again, that is my KA experience showing.

Is there such a mode on this engine or am I dreaming? Also, how many of you are running this sensor on their cars?

the part of the AAC gizmo that always breaks is the connector on thE FICD, which is part of the AAC assembly, its sole purpose in life is to raise idle when AC is turned on.

cold start is through idiot means, we just have the air regulator that lets in more air until it heats up from the 12V passing through it
