As you can see in the instructions above, it asks for you to remove the "Push In Tabs" to remove the fender liner. For the guys who installed thier own CAI, how did you remove it? I tried to pry it with a flathead screwdriver but it didn't get me anywhere

Those things SUCK! I just did my headlight bulbs today and broke a few. Actually ended up hacksawing the last one off the bottom cover. Get some screw-type replacements (3/16") from Autozone and replace every one you remove.

Did you take those pictures you posted, or are you following a tutorial for installation? I am installing my Fujita CAI as soon as in comes in the mail, and other than pics of finished products and written directions, step by step would be helpful. Thanks alot

And I did search the forum, and found alot of posts, just not exactly what I am looking for...

I installed my Stillen Intake last night. Pretty straight forward (except for those !@#$ tabs). However, is the intake pipe supposed to be to close to the battery? It is currently touching the top right corner of the battery and about half and inch from touching the negative battery terminal

Does anyone experiance this with thier intakes?

my aem intake has rubbed against the metal where the sleeve is for your stillen intake. i have a nice gash on my intake and its wearing into the aluminum... i loosend it up and readjusted the intake and now it doesn't rub but i had to put some electrical tape on the edges cuz the body of the car would rub the intake significantly, i kinda wish the sleeve on the aem intake went down that far to protect it...
