Mods I have nothing to sell just seeing what people think.

I was thinking about getting a cup holder made out of ABS that would fit like the S13 center ash try. Would any one else be interested in this? If this were to happen they would be around the $30.00 range. They would fit one cup and most sizes including the huge glup super sized diabetic cups. They would also be black. Thanks.

Does this fit in the slot below our radio slot?

I like it, but the one you gave the link for went for $43.00 +$7.00. Lot of money for a cup holder! I know, I am a tight wad!

does it not just slide into the open area below the radio? What is so hard about installing it there?

Please post about the install outcome. I have read that due to the angle of the dash, the DIN holders do not work well for our 240s (in their words) "unless you don't care about your radio!

I would think that ifyour driving a Stick shift. It would get in the way...cuz i know when i have ppl reaching for my radio and i try and shift...it just doesnt happen with out me hitting them out of the way on accident

I think what I was reading was meaning that the drink would spill out on the radio from the angle the holder would be on.

The problem with this is that it hard for your to shift if its in the way.

Go to any junkyard and find a early 90's model ford taurus and they have those exact cup holder and depending on where you go they run between $5-$20 dollars.

the problem with using the the ash tray as the cup holder is the bump where the E-brake is grounded is in the way. I find that a annoyness to me cause i buy the bigger size drinks and it in my way of shifting and i shift around.

The OEM armrest is kinda high for me and i hit my drink and my arm continously hit it.

I know im never happy.

But i perfer either using the ash tray or putting it between the seat and the door.

I say do it and let me know i might buy one

Yeah, now you'll only have condensation dripping and running down all over your radio...
