One of the best technical death metal bands of all time. Been listening to them for a few years. I actually just posted a thread about them a few days ago in the music forum with a link to Stabwound. I love the sweeps that Suicmez employs in that song, particularly the one just before the first verse.

Glad someone appreciates their work. You know that Suicmez played all the instruments on their first cd? He recorded the entire thing by himself, musical f*cking prodigy in its essence.

I've almost got all of the intro to Only Ash Remains down pat, but its one of the hardest songs I've ever tried to learn.

And of course, you have to appreciate the absolutely retarded awesome solo in Fermented Offal Discharge...

I was hoping to see them at Wacken this year, but they aren't playing. But hell, At The Gates and Gorgoroth should make up for that...

Yep, explained it all in that post. It's so incredible that you pretty much have to mention it every time you talk about them. I dont blame him for waiting so long to piece together a band...there's not many people who can keep up with him on their respective instruments. +1 to him for picking up Marco on drums

Wait, you're going to Wacken Open Air? I'm ****ing jealous. I'm sure that will be an expensive trip, but well worth it. I figure I'll just wait a few years more when I'm comfortable with my skill, form a band, and then I'll get to visit Wacken on tour

^ Yep, I practically sh*t my pants when my cousin told me we were going. I've wanted to go since I was in like 7th grade. This is gonna be my first time, so I'm insanely stoked on it. Somehow, I've managed to plan out two trips this summer, before Wacken Open Air I'm gonna hit Japan again for a week or so.

But I'll be sure to provide countless pictures of Wacken for all the Nico metalheads out there. I'm sure I'll have a beer in hand in every picture though...

You better get some good pics. Wacken is in August right?

Japan is another great country for metal. They eat it up over there.

All you need to visit now is Sweden, Finland, and Norway, which can all be done in one long trip. That would be another incredible metal trip.

Yea, its like July 31st to August something I think. I'd love to make it out to the Netherlands some day, that would be f-ing awesome. Maybe I'll try and hit those next summer.

Being a fellow metalhead these interesting facts might intrigue you... At The Gates ( ) actually got back together to play Wacken one last time. And Gorgoroth (after losing their drummer) has Hellhammer (Mayhem) replacing them for live shows and Nick Barker (Dimmu Borgir +more) doing the studio recordings. At least I think I got those in the right order...

Pics will come as soon as I'm back

I love At The Gates and The Haunted. I wish I could have seen them live. I used to listen to Bloodletting from TH on the car ride to play paintball every time. It will be good to hear the Bjorler brothers with Lindberg again.

I just checked the lineup for Wacken, and as usual it looks like an incredible event. Have fun man.
