If you're seriously interested in doing an LED retrofit, then I've collected some additional information you might want to consider. I've been planning my own LED retrofit, but I hit a wall with some of the problems I'd need to overcome. If you can solve them and do the swap, that would be great.
If you'd be interested and can put the time and effort into figuring out the problems, I might be able to do another write-up like this one for the LED conversion.

Actually, never mind. I took my HVAC apart, switched the bulbs around, and now it works. What ya get when ya own an S chassis...qat727 wrote:

hi do you know how to install the replacement harzard switch relay which is part number 25731 it replaces the orignal one from nissna can you help or tell me where i can get help

sorry for reviving an oldddd thread but i just had to go through this today.
i am glad i found your thread cause i wasnt sure where the bulbs were located but i realized there is multiple steps you dont have to do, when you remove the climate control from the car all you have to do is lift that little tab up, it is designed to just lift up to gain access to the bulbs, you dont have to take apart the unit at all.
