"all your base are belong to us" is from an '80's space invaders like video game that was poorly translated from Japanese to English. The phrase has been used ever since as a metaphore for cross-cultural confusion or just confusion.

I seriously hope the American Skyline never has a V8---that would erase the entire uniqueness, in a way, it would show a bowing to the V8.....I prefer an inline-6 that can squash a V8.

Same here, but on the other hand I love the sound of a healthy V8 so I dont care what it has. As long as its not a 4 banger(Absolutely doesnt belong in a Skyline) I will be cool with it.

Most probably a V6 as that's what they're testing in the JTCC..however if they decide on a 4 banger "then the GT-R will be could classes (maybe not it going to have 480+hp)"

Yea man a 4 cylinder GTR would suck soooooooo bad! I wouldnt mind a V6. Might give us better gas mileage anyway. A TT V8 still sounds good to me though.

If anything I ope with the way the designers go they make it muscle car looking but in a new style such as the r34 was.

Honestly, the thing that I'm more concerned about is not the engine but more of what kind of 'driving aids' they're gonna put in this time around. I hope they don't go overboard. Maybe its just me but I really like the way the GTR 32 handles as compare to the GTR33 ( never had a chance to drive a GTR34 to the limit :( ) as it feels more like a well sorted out FR..the chasis is a bit more flexy but still nice nevertheless.

Yes--in nuke school one of our catch phrases was the "all your base are belong to us"! Thanks for reminding me of that---I had forgotten it's exact wording....

read the cars you have listed as you...i offically hate you.

i have heard the R33 is less of a car to the R32 and R34...but then again i have never driven one so i couldn't say that from 1st hand experiance.

So would I. they look so much sexier IMO and Iwouldnt mind the minor differences between it and the R32.

barisgas14:Thanks :) Yes, that's the general opinion about the GTR 33 as compared to the rest but I also found that the R33 do have its own special qualities : 1) cabin space: The rear seats space is the biggest out of the lot, infact its bigger than a BMW E36 four door. you could fit two adults comfortably which I can't say about the GTR 32. 2) High speed stability: maybe its the lower CD or the adjustable rear wing, but the R33 seems to be more stable than the R32 at higher speed. 3) Chicks dig R33 more..heeheee

I've only had an opportiunity to drive a GTR 34 around the block and the chasis stiffness is apparent even at such low speed. The steering felt more direct and all this with stock everything. But after tailing a friend in a R34 during a 'sprited' drive up a twisty mountain pass, I found the car to be quiet tail happy. I doubt it was the power as it was fairly stock or the tires ( pontenzas) but it didn't take much to provoke the tail out. I was later told that the driver felt in total control through out the tail out experience which I suspect has something to do with the more advance HICAS system ( no disrespect to my friend's driving ability ;)) Anyway someday, when I'm financially able to , I would love to own a GTR34 and find out for sure. And at the rate of GTR34s coming in here ( there are more GTR34 as compared to the rest ) I'm sure the price will drop
