failed smog, SES codes p0430 and p0740, pls help

Hi guys, I have a 2001 I30 with around 125k on it. the trans shifts great, recent trans fluid and filter change done, code p0740 was on before trans service, so im sure its not a bad torque conv. new fluid and level is good. with code p0430 i did change rear cat convert, the car still gets terrible gas mpg and light is still on. any help would be appreciated. i would like to pass inspection

P0430 can be a lot more than the cat/O2 sensor. Check page EC-357

P0740 is the torque converter clutch solenoid valve, not the torque converter itself. Go to page AT-151.
