im so tired of doing things to make my car look better and them backfiring on me and being such a pain in the a$$.... so far this has been the s***tiest bumper that i have ever seen.... the shop had to do a whole bunch of work to make it fit right..... the quality is horrible..... no corners on the bumper around the moustache is molded bad, the bottom where the lower grille is is made uneven..... and i can go on and on... I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS BUMPER TO ANYONE unless you want to spend a whole bunch of money to make it perfect... but by then you are just making your own custom bumper.... today i stopped at the mailbox and the spedometer wasnt even moving and i tapped the stopper thingy and it cracked the whole front lip....

duraflex is a bunch of BS this bumper is not flexible and is not sutable for a daily driver.... on the back it might be a different story... now i have to pay even more money to fix this pos.....

im soooooo tempted to just return the car to stock now and say F it.... well i dont know its just the bumper thats causing the problems....... im for sure going back to the stock bumper..... because it is soooo much bettter than this piece.....

im just tired of one bad thing happening after another..... theres my rant....

Stillen is usually very good with getting back to customers. My Stillen fascia fit perfect, I installed it myself so it just took a bit more time.

The center sag is from not following the directions and keeping the support brace from the OEM bumper intact.

Where the front fascia meets my side fenders it doesn't sit completely flush but its extremely hard to notice and it's a simple fix. Forget where that thread was where adidas and dangeris mentioned it....

I know EXACTLY how you feel man. I agree 100% ED parts are a pain in the a$$. I had been quoted for the job at price X and ended up being X time 2 (twice as much) because of the molding and fitment problems. Not to mention the paint is so hard to match since the rest of the car is metal and the bumper is duraflex. My front fascia can be manipulated a lot easier to fit.

With Stillen I have never ran into any issues.

i did keep the support brace from the OEM bumper. i followed every direction completely. and my problem with it sitting flush by the side fenders is not even close to hardly noticeable. there are clear gaps where it does not line up.

Sorry Mike im not tryin to thread jack. i know how frustrating it can be tho. sorry to hear man.

Th auto body I took mine to made there own brace. Thats why professional shops cost a little more but you really do get what you pay for. Never go the cheap way. Always go to a shop with credibility. It is worth it in the end and if you cant afford to take your car to a professional auto body then dont buy after market parts. You are just setting yourself up to fail.

I have the full Stillen kit and it doesnt fit 100% but its about 90% and my body shop says is among the best they have ever worked with. I also got the ED fenders and not only do they not look ANYTHING like what is in the picture your right its not flexable at all. My body shop had to pour tons of hours into just to make it fit and my buddy who owns the shop cussed me out every time I came in to look at it. Duraflex is above pure fiberglass I guess but not much. If I had tried to bend my fenders like they did in the commercial they would have exploded.

Pics? I have been wanting to see what the ED fenders would look like with the Stillen kit.

I dont think that I would buy them though, as you are like the 4th person to have fitment issues with them.

Stillen has it's PHd in Nissan's . Their stuff will fit perfectly the majority of the time and if not they have the best customer service I have ever seen and will take care of you . I do wish they would make a different kit though to give us A/C drivers some options.

I agree with stillens customer service it's among the best and that's why I'm so confused as to why I haven't recieved a response on how to fix it and it's been over 3 months I even emailed Kyle about it about 2 weeks ago now and haven't heard anything back from him either. I know he's usually busy so I'm tryin to cut him some slack but it's gettin to be a little ridiculous now

I installed it myself cause I wanted the satisfaction of doing it myself. The body shop that was fixing my car from my accident was trying to screw me over so I didn't let them install it.

And +1 for the ED fender pic

Ok, this is honestly really odd. I have never had this problem with stillen. Try emailing or calling for Dean. He responds to my emails within 3 hours and never stops helping me till we get an answer.

Ask for Dean!

ugh...

my foxmarketing kit came off the press just like anyone else who didn't have there's built and molded on the car. You can ask a few people here that my fitment was closer to perfect than many with the stillen front fascia. I haven't seen the ED altima ff in person, but a bud has a Z with a ED front and the fitment was nutz on. Maybe it's hit or miss, but i've heard great things about ED's duraflex.

And,to the comment on matching paint because of the surface material?

Stillen, Foxmarketing, ED, ETC bodykits will not be the same material as your OE body panels so...

Ya I'm sure it's a hit and miss, not only with the production of the panels but also with the production of the cars. Loops fenders fit very nice and when we tried to get them onto my car it wasn't a match at all.

I might have gotten a bad one.... bit I expected the material to b at least a little flexible....

No always.

Anyone who installed this themselves would know this problem. It took me a lot more than the brace to get rid of the gap. The brace didn't do anything. The whole assembly, brace included, has to be pushed up sometimes. Maybe due to overly bent (maybe from extreme heat) urethane, it wouldn't stay straight.

Hmm can anyone find this? I'm having a hard time.

All I recall is a passing comment from Blake that he just secured that with zip ties. I haven't been able to see any way of doing that.

I installed everything myself on the fascia. Put it together, put in the braces, installed it. Perfect fitment. Never a problem. Maybe you need to take it by STILLEN to have their technicians take a look at it.

I drilled holes on the inside of the fascia and put zip ties from those holes to the frame around the headlight.
