Hey,

I have a'99 Pathfinder SE. My exhaust is falling apart. From the muffler, there's an elbow that goes up to connect to a secondary muffler of some sort. The problem is that the flange gasket that connects both the actual muffler and the secondary rusted and has now separated. I'm not getting any loud noise when the engine is running as if there wasn't a muffler at all. In addition to that, the heat shields on both catalyic convers have rusted off. Where can I find a cheap/reasonably priced after market exhaust system?:help

Thanks

You could get a stock replacement from the dealer, but since your going for more of a value exaust, midas or any local muffler shop will be able to fabricate one to your specification. If I find any pre-manufactured aftermarket exausts ill let you know.

You could also email http://www.brmusa.com/ , they specialize in custom exausts.

10 to 1 says Hitman can offer a BRM for you, even if he doesn't have one for the Pathfinders yet, I mean, we all know that man needs his lady driving something with some magnaflows on it:D

stick around, I'm sure he'll answer this in no time, or you could check http://www.brmusa.com

I think that's right...

The heat shields will have to be bought from a dealer, but in answer to your question for some AM exhaust work I reccomend Midas only because I just had a flowmaster and duals put on my truck by them a week ago. The job was completed on time, the welds were done nicely, the bends were perfect. On a side note I did shop around and they were higher than some of the other smaller independant shops but the cheaper guys were busy and couldn't get mine in until this week. Well when I want something done to my truck and have the cash then I want it done yesterday regardless price. Thats my downfall thogh... impatience:)
