Exhaust...i just wish i knew

ok this is how i see it. i want to get exhaust for my A/C. like alot of people do, but i dont know what to do. now i know there is the stillen as well as the nismo, but there is also the borla. the question is what is more worth it for a 2.5s, is the borla going to sound good on it. now i don't mind dishing out the the cash for any of them, but i just want to know whats the better OR if any 2.5's have a video post-em so we can really see.

and..... i heard that the stillen has problems with one side sticking out more than the other, anyone word on what stillen was going to do about that.

ahhhhhhhh.. i dont know what to do HELP

Don't forget that the Borla is not out yet. Also, GReddy will have a system out in about two/three months, and Tanabe also has an exhaust for sale. Sorry that that doesn't help answer your questions, I probably just added to the confusion, lol.

wouldn't it be possible to just get a couple greddy evo2 mufflers and have an exaust shop just put it in with some custom 2.5in tubing?

well u can do that with alot of brands, but the point of getting a system is the performence and the sound.. i could go get some s-type mufflers from borla but the amount of money/ not even knowing if there going to perform/ sound good makes me want to just wate. idk.

also how well do the greddy sound

You've got the 2.5 right? I'm getting my Stillen cat-back tomorrow, once I get it installed I'll see if any of my coworkers has a video camera that will record the stuff for me. I don't have a camera of my own but I'll do what I can to get the sound of the Stillen exhaust to you. The flamethrower thing was just a joke!!

Did anyone ask GReddy if they are making one for the 2.5? All I know is that they prototype it on the 3.5 since they used my car.

As for the Tanabe exhaust, its either coming out in May or June according to there website.

I asked them, and this was the response I got:"Thank you for your interetst in GReddyThe exhaust has already been made we are awaiting all of the productionmodels to arrive from japan . no official date as of yet most likely marchor april."

I just spoke w/ greddy sales. dude said the systems should be out in 2-4 months. there are no plans at this time for headers, any sedan systems, or 2.5s.

so the only people getting a greddy are 3.5 coupes.
