Does anyone know the diameter of the stock exhaust on the coupe? I'm debating on whether to get the axle-back or cat-back exhaust. I know it sounds cheap but im on a balla budget LOL. If I were to get the cat-back, I think I'd go with Nismo's. Thanks in advance....

Not sure myself but I'm going for the Stillen. Some of those videos of the cat-backs on you tube sound horrible.... (like a lawn mower) Maybe the vids don't do em justice though!

I've got a lot of faith in NISMO. More than some guy that doesn't know how to work a camera or take a video, i think that video is useless...Except you can kinda hear what it sounds like while idling. Also in the description he says he got it installed last night, so i dont think its broken in yet..... The diameter of the NISMO tips are 4". they look amazing! there overall form and the slick graphic on the side is awesome. Also i had no idea it was one unit muffler system. i thought it was two seprate pieces leading off one main pipe from the cat. This setup is similar to the 350z catback nismo exhaust....Cant wait for the install!

So being said that, the difference in getting the cat-back vs. axle back it what? Just for my sake of mind. Is it the resonator?

depends on the system if they up the piping diameter. Borla upped mine from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 from the cat back. 2 1/2 is a good general purpose exhaust diameter for future mods and everything. You wouldn't really want to go any higher than that unless your going forced induction. The resonator is just a sound diffuser. It doesn't slow down air flow or do anything to reduce the power of your car its only there to muffle sound. Think of it as a pre-muffler.

Ok sounds good. Thanks for the insight Now to determine if I wanna spend $700+ on the Stillen cat-back or $500+ on the Stillen axle-back.

If your'e a balla you would get the catback 700$+ one... BUT.. if you're a wannabe baller (like me) you would choose the 500$ one.

What is it.. to ball or not to ball?
