I will be having my valve covers resealed very soon.

Would it be best have to the flush performed before or after the valve covers are sealed?

I would do it after.... As you could see on my engine, the valve covers were identically caked up with all that junk.... The less junk the better!

Theres another company that does it called Bilstein or something like that... It looks very comprable to the envirultron, and you may be able to find one closer......

Thank you very much. I think there is a Toyota dealership in town that uses the Envirolution flush.

I'll go ahead and get the covers sealed first.

If you take it to a shop, make sure you tell them specifically to clean the covers VERY good.... Until perfect....

Tell them paint and varnish remover works WONDERFUL!!! That stuff in a spray bottle made my life so much easier!

Fred - Do you have the Envirolution Flush system adapters for the Q45?

I smell a "meet" event/discount deal??

Realize that shops' quotes won't include the kind of time and care that owners put into their cars. A valve cover doesn't have to be perfect to be functionally perfect...dark stains on the inside (or outside) of the cover will never hurt anything. I'd be very wary of turning them loose on a valve cover with chemicals that will eat the paint off the outer surface!

I was going to do that myself while he had the valve covers off.
