So lately my V has had some start up issues. Occasionally it'll take a good 5 seconds for it to start. It only happens sometimes, but often enough for me to start being concerned.

Ideas? I figure it may be the spark plugs, but why so intermittent? Only happens maybe once a week.

There is a service bulletin from Nissan calling for the replacement of the fuel pressure regulator. Make an appointment with the dealer and have it replaced. It's been discussed at great length in many, many threads here.

I the mean time... don't do the extended crank... just crank (release) (wait a few moments) and (crank) again.

It'll start up on the second time.
