Who made the OEM engine gaskets? I have seen Ishino Stone and Nippon Reinz alleged to produce OEM gaskets. I need lower plenum to head gaskets and am aware that they are shim steel base with rubber "risers" around the ports. I have a part # of 14035-P00 and haven't check with Nissan yet for their price. ConceptZ wants $80- each for these. Parts Geek has them a lot cheaper and they are the correct composition, steel/rubber. FelPro also makes these gaskets, steel /rubber. FelPro has made gaskets for along time, but I'm not sure about their foreign products. This gasket is listed on eBay at a stupid low price but it is just stamped aluminum foil over gasket material (more like an exhaust manifold gasket) and not what I need or want. Any body have any suggestions/experience about best gaskets other than just saying OEM? Thanks for replies.

I would stay away from felpro, and go with OEM, yes they are pricey but for the amount of work you'd have to do if a cheap gasket was to let go would it really be worth it to skimp on the gaskets? I'm sure Nissan has had multiple OE manufacturers for gaskets throughout history even between 1989 and 1999 they may have changed multiple times. The QA requirements for whatever OE supplier would have been equivalent and I can guarantee you that felpro was never one of those. I have never seen aftermarket plenum to head gaskets that were worth a damn and have always used OEM directly from courtesy.

^Everything that Anton said. Anything in a Nissan OEM package will be up to spec, though.

The felpro gaskets are fine, I might not want their head gasket but otherwise should be okay. The VG30DE doesn't have a "lower pelum" only a plenum and an intake manifold, calling it an intake gasket might help you locate your parts as well.
