the ecu has built in rev limiters for 4th and 5th gear. The sensors are not needed on the trans. Just disconnect them. If its more of a studder than a rev limit I would check for boost leaks. Also what happened to me is I got a maf from eBay and came with an air filter. To make the filter fit the z32 maf they removed one of the screens.....bad idea. It created turbulence and messed with the maf readings. And gave me a "rev limit " kind of issue. Also make sure the intake is long enough . Apexi, and jwt make pretty good air filters to help aid in turbulence prevention. Hope I can help.
