purple power... just dont leave it on for too long... spray the WHOLE motor/engine bay and spray w/ water REALLY REALLY good ... it took like 4 bottles to clean my bay/motor... pick it up @ a local advanced for like 3-4 bucks a bottle

Engine degreaser. A power washer comes in handy. Make sure to thoroughly clean and, if necessary, repair the bay to get rid of any rust or corrosion. Checking the condition of the steering rack is a good move, too.

If you can.......load the engine into the back of a pickup truck (on a wooden skid or something) then take it to a local self serve car wash and go at it. Just make sure you've capped off places that shouldnt get water in them.

yea man your good, I as well had the same thing happen only difference is I had the Valve Covers off b/c of painting and my bros friend was stupid enough to lift up the cover the night before and not put it back and it rained hard and yup my motor was filled with water, we drained it along with the oil opened oil pan cleaned it up and everything is good as pie. As for your ecu and harness most of it is weather proof just to be safe air it out, use a blow dryer to be sure.
