emissions is not a problem where you are? dang... i wish it wasnt here either... how much are you expecting to gain from removing everything?

i removed my EGR by making a plate to block it off for the sole reason of how much a pain in the butt it is when you have to remove the exhaust manifold or downpipe. It saved alot of time.Just find a small piece of sheet metal and you can cut it to fit shape of EGR flange. Drill holes so you can tighten it down and maybe use a gasket to seal.

10 hp is pushing it

I can see a 5 hp gain on a turbo KA

This is my reasoning (for asleep;) )

A light weight pulley will add 8 hp, 15% of those hp (which is 1 hp) is gained from underdrive all the belt components, only one hp is gained form that, 5 hp from just removing emissions stuff is the best I can see.And the KA is only a LEV so there aren’t that many emission stuff you can remove.

you say youre running a ka24de-t with a jwt ecu... thats an obd2 setup... will that ecu work on an obd2 altima? ive heard you cant reprogram the obd2 ecu... unless you swapped yours to obd1.

the one thing i dont get is the IAC. if i block that off with my engine running it will try to die until i open it up again. if i remove the solenoid will it then idle ok?

kewl, thats what i figured. you should post your setup on altimas.net in the turbo forum. lots of guys want to turbo their 2nd gen obd2 altimas and are freaked out by the ecu problem.
