Electrical systems nightmares!!!! HELP!

Well here it goes... Came out of work one night and car wouldnt start... Tested the battery which was of course dead... but I knew it wasnt that simple... I limped the car home and tested the battery with the car running and off (12.5volts off) (12.1volts running) sooo I assume bad alternator... take it to autozone wher they say NOPE its a good alternator... so I clean it and reinstall it thinking maybe I wiggles a wire enough to get a good ground...

Tested again and still only 12.1 volts when running... so I took it to an alternator shop and had it rebuilt... installed it and still only 12 volts when running....

ANYONE have ANY ideas as to what my problem on this could be?????? if I can test the alt on the vehicle to see if its putting out 14volts at the alt but maybe not at the battery??? any help is greatly appriciated!

P.S. since the instal of the new battery I have not had power to my radio... and it takes a second for the tach and interior dashlights to start working, also when they do finally click on the wipers go on for 2 cycles even in the off position...!

How are the battery/chassis grounds?

I am assuming you checked your underhood fuse as well?
