Recently I have been having intermittent problems with my 94 Q45.At times the alarm will go off while the car is sitting in the driveway in a very quiet neighborhood with no external noises. Also some mornings when I leave to go to work the doors will be locked when I have not locked them. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark

How old is the battery?

Old batteries do weird things.

The battery is new, less than one month old.

Body Control Unit. I would absolutely download your FSM (Factory Service Manual) at http://www.phatg20.net - then google for the decompression freeware to open the .rar file that you get there. It should have some helpful diagnostic procedures there.

Good Luck!

Instead of spending $200 for a sometimes iffy dealer diagnosis this site provides the opportunity for owners to spend hours and days, weeks, months, years reading and studying automotive technology.

The NICO College of Nissan Technology requires students to buy or acquire their text books, buy lab equipment and tools, pay attention in class, take notes and do their homework in an excellant manner.
