electrical help

I have a 95 Nissan P/U i have no running lights or dash lights working, but head lights signal lights and brake lights all work. I checked the fuse box and had a blown fuse, I traced the wiring harness and all looks good any idea of what else i can do.

Did you replace the fuse?

yes i changed the fuse and it keeps blowing, must be a short somewhere.

Yeah... does it blow immediately?
I don't really condone this, but if you replace it with a larger fuse, whatever is shorting out should smoke and alert you to where it is

...or burn your car down.

Yes i changes the fuse to the same size 10 amp as soon as i turn on the light switch it pops. Today i will trace all light wires to the harness to see if i can find a bad wire.
