Does anyone have any opinions on these? Like a 70 dollar one off of ebay, it works off your battery and just sucks in air. Sounds uhhhh cheap

i've got one. 1 maybe 2 psi on a really good day. i tweaked mine and made a venturi in it to help build air pressure.

wouldn't that rob high end rpm horsepower, an electric fan can only move so fast, i mean its running of a 12v battery. I can imagine that it might work if there is a higher spinning fan. Where did you find yours and what where you talking about tweaking?

I've seen two types of these resistors...one that goes into the coolant temp sensor reference wire (to keep the computer thinking the coolant is cold and run the car rich) the other in the mass air flow reference wire (essentially doing the same thing). The problem you run into with these resistors is that they cause your car to constantly run rich and could damage your engine over time.
