Hey guys..... I know you'll all think i'm a noob or a ricer (haha) but i got a great deal on a Blitz BOV and i installed it in my car....... now i wasn't sure where to tap in the vaccum hose so i asked a friend who has a SR and previously a CA.... he drew me the diagram below......

but after doing all this i still have no sound from the BOV..... any ideas?

if you have a stock CA18 turbo, that won't work. there is no vacum at the nipple coming from the turbo. get a source from the manifold. behind the throttle body!

Thanks WeldingHank!

.....before i cut too many wrong hoses and try to find one by trial and error....can some one send me a picrure or diagram of "exactly" which hose i need to tap into.....

Thanks for the help! and i really appologise for my ignorance as i am just learning the basics of the way stuff works......

the one leading to the FPR would work.

my BOV nipple is pretty large... the only manifold hose large enough to fit over the HKS nipple was the one on the side of the manifold (just past the first runner, near the throttle body kinda)... I also use this for wastegate signal. The FPR and butterfly valve vaccum hoses are too small!

That's the one that I had hooked up for my wastegate, and intend to use it for my BOV if I ever get the piping on this stupid car figured out. sometimes I wish I had an SR...

the one on my sheepdog looks small enough to work on the FPR one, at least from memory..
