so installed my eibachs on my sedan last month and after looking at all the pics online i decided to CUT them to give it a better stance and now:

im have some rubbing issues on my passanger side but i cut them identically and i was wondering if anyone else had these issues???

*spring was rubbing on shock tower so i had to grind it a bit. but still feels like the spring wont seat correctly...

Don't cut them!!! lol idk man, you may have made a prob. you can't undo.

I don't have any expirience with cutting springs, I've just always heard that it's a bad idea. So it's rubbing on the strut? or what part of the shock tower? is it possible to take a pic?

hope you can get it worked out, also if you really want it low I would have to say look at some coilovers.

if someone made coilovers for the sedan i would have bought them.

and yes i understand i may have caused the problem. the only thing i dont understand is they were cut identically so why would the problem be on only one side....

and if you saw the stance of my car compared to an uncut eibach youd cut yours too!!!!

im not talking about the rear. there is no shock tower that the rear spring could hit. i said shock tower right not the shock???

and if you read my entire post i state that both springs are cut identically and only one is rubbing.

i dont need a solution guys i just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this.

I never heard any sort of problem like this before from anyone who have the Eibach.

Also I think the coilovers that are out now does fit the sedan also but not to sure because I think a few folks have coilover on now. I believe the suspension have the same set up as the coupe. (If the rear suspension is independent then BC Racing and D2 coilover will fit)

You aren't getting any positive responses because most people here know not to cut their springs.

Even though you think that you cut the springs the same amount, maybe you didn't do it exactly the same. Additionally, even if you did cut the exact same amount, there is going to be variation between the springs themselves. One side might have been a bit stiffer than the other to begin with.

i don't think you're going to find ANYONE with the same issue as you, because i really highly doubt anyone else has cut their eibachs...
