EGR Value Replacement Question 1995 Model

It looks like I also need to replace the EGR value. I can barely see it from the top of the engine. Do I need to pull the plenum? Any tips on how to do the replacement?

You know I'll post some pics and posts from the job -- that is if I can figure out how to do it..

You should be able to get to it without removing the plenum. You'll need to remove the guide tube as well of you'll never get the valve off. I would also suggest replacing the guide tube as they tend to get filled with carbon and become blocked off.
