EGR on manifold

hey I am planning to start a custom turbo kit. I was wondering if I'll have to remove the EGR since the after market manifolds do not have EGR fittings. Which manifolds do and which don't? I might end up doing a custom manifold but I'm just wondering.

I cut the EGR bung out of the stick header and welded it on to my downpipe in about the right spot. Then I hacked up the stock EGR pipe to makeit fit. I passed emission testing just fine.

what would happen if you took it off and didnt hook it up?

guess what I'm trying to ask is, I want a custom turbo set up, but I do not want to remove anything that will compromise emissions (yes I will be running a cat).

I'm not sure but I think JWT can reprogram the ECU to do away with EGR. Call and ask.

unless you want to pass the emissions that is, REALLY. Great advise guy... If you want to pass emissions just get white gas into your tank, after you run it dry. You will pass, and its very easy to get. You should see what your state emissions are though so you know for sure.

im so glad i dont have to worry about all that emissions bullsh#t where i live. cops wouldnt give a sh#t about any of that here.
