I know when you turn the ignition to the on position, the red and green lights come on on the ecu. When cranking the engine over, are the lights suppose to stay on while cranking the engine or are they suppose to go off. When I try to start the car, the both go off until I stop cranking it, and then they both come back on again.

If you correctly hooked the harness connector from the ecu wire loon to the connector inside the car, then you shouldn't be having problems. Mainly the orange wire. But if your car won't crank and you have the harness hooked-up correctly, then you need to re-inspect your wiring work.

It will crank but it won't start. Are you talking about the connectors behind the battery?

No! The connector at the end of the engine harness which is about 12 inches away from the connector that goes into the ecu. The orange wire there is oh-so important as it is what gives the ecu power while you're cranking the engine.

ok, I'll look at that tomorrow. Could that be why it won't start? Whatever heavythrottle.com said to hook up, that's what I went by.

the ECU doesn't know you're trying to turn it on if thats not hooked up

you'll need to either hack off your KA harness connector to wire it up (since the CA and KA connectors are not the same, its from the "wrong side" of the car) or go hack one off at a junkyard from the same year (or at least same enough.. not sure if all DE's are the same and all E's the same, but same year will work for sure)

is the orange wire suppose to have constant power to it at all times or just in the start position.

It only powers up when you are in the starter engage position.

I went to my car and it all of uh sudden it started right up, but still when I was starting it both lights went off. Then when it started, those lights were still off, but the engine was still running with both lights off.

the lights are supposed to be off when your car is running.

ok I've got one more problem. I've got one injector that is bad. I'll be replacing all four of them here soon. When I get it started, I have to keep giving it gas to keep it going. If I let off, it will die. It also sounds like it is missing real bad.

if that's your symptoms, it may not be an injector.

I tested all of my injectors, and they were reading 2.7 ohms, Number 1,2,and 3, but the fourth injector didn't read anything when I tested it with a DMM. I know the injector shouldn't be the problem. I hope not, but my real problem is when it is started, I have to keep giving it gas to keep it going. If I don't give it gas it will die. Also I noticed that I had it running for about 5 minutes and all of a sudden the water temp gauge started to rise pretty fast. So I turned it off.
