ECU Code 22?

My car's ECU is throwing me a code 22... I've read that this code doesn't exist (although clearly it does), that it could be the PTU or CAS but those already have their own codes... So what is it? :wtf2:

I think that's a camshaft code. I don't know. How did you check the code? Counting lights or with an OBD-II scanner maybe? Did you use a MIL consult or something else? Could there be a typo in this posting? A formal code has 4 numbers and starts with a P.

You should look at the EC chapter of your FSM. We have service manuals right at the top of this page in the 'pull down menu' looking links along the top. I could look for you, but you don't share your cars model year.

Code 22 = ignition circuit, usually just conector issues on one end of the PTU and if you have an early car that's been converted to newer style you'll have twice as many connectors to clean and check. If after cleaning and checking all the connectors it's still wont fire, time for a PTU.
