Becareful with these. They are longer than stock, and the small-end bore is larger.

I'm guessing they were ordered for a set of pistons with larger wristpins, perhaps with the pin moved up? Better rod ratio? Definitely sounds like someone had a custom application and then decided to go another way.

This was my guess exactly. These are a great price for these rods, but you had better plan on some new, custom pistons.
