About two years ago I got two front calipers from the junkyard. I'm pretty certain they are from either a mid to late 90's Q45 or an I30. Problem is, that it was so long ago, I can't remember the model or year!
I purchased pads for a '98 I30 and they just fell about 3/8" short from being the right size. I took the caliper to Autozone and and tried 95 Q45 pads. They were too long. Any idea what calipers these could be? The caliper bracket does bolt right up.
On one side of the bracket is the number 291. On the other side of the bracket is the number 41. In the middle there is an 8, a space, and the letter T. On the top of caliper near the banjo bolt is the number 44N. Also on top, is an R, and T3. This is the passenger side front brake assembly.
The grooves for the pad to sit in are 5 and 7/8" from top to bottom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
All the best,
