DS Sport Mode?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does anyone know how this works? I wonder if this will help the car shift a little more sportier...

Pull the shift lever to the left to enter DS Sport, then push forward to upshift and back to downshift. Works great.

It does work great!!! But it took over 3mpg off of my mileage average when I used it for a good portion of a tank! Ouch!

The DS sport mode works in two settings. Auto and Manual. You can just move the shift lever to the left and if you just leave it there, you wont need to shift; the trans with shift gears at higher rpm's for more power; or you can tap up/down to manually shift.

or leave it there and it will shift automaticaly at the highest safest revolution possible.
