Dropping 2007 G35 x question

Hey All,

Nice to be here. Getting 2007 G35 X and got a great deal on Eibach (spelling?) springs. My questions is..if I drop it with original tires/wheels (for now) will my tires rub? I think the drop will be 1.4 in front and 1.3 rear.

It has been done... I am not sure about using the Eibachs precisely, but I have seen pics of it done with the H&R springs that I have. There are some pics of an X dropped with 20s I think on another forum I post on. I am not sure how the mods are here about linking to other forums, so I will refrain for now. I can tell you that IF you drop it with the stock tires you will not rub or have any issues as far as that goes. YOU will have issues in getting the alignment back into spec. The rear does not have enough adjustment to get it back into spec and the front has no available adjustment. At this time there is also not a camber/caster kit available for the car. I do not know how much different this is one the X though...

If you are unsuccessful finding the information you need, let me know and I will try and gather it...

I am not sure WHEN the alignment its will be out, I am hoping BEFORE I ruin a set of tires!
