Drag racing a 5spd. s14

I'm going to the track this weekend at the BG meet.

I've never dragged before, (legally) and I've never even tried launching my s14. I don't really have any time to practice either.

What have you guys that have near stock 5spd. 240's had the best results doing?

How high do you launch? You feather the clutch or drop it hard?

If there wasn't snow on the ground right now I'd go and find out for myself...

every car has a different personality, you are going to have to experiment with your car. You want just enough wheelspin so it doesn't bog when the tires grab, that takes practice. Good luck at the races.

I've got no idea... but it's got to be easier than launching the Z.

I'll be in the white s14... 17-year-old. Shouldn't be too hard to spot.

My dad's coming with me because the parents aren't too keen on me driving that far by myself. 10 hours one way is also a lot.
