Not sure if this is the right place to put it or not but I think so :) I have an 09 G37Xs (which i love), but recently the door request switch and trunk switch stopped working. I thought maybe because the battery in my key fob was low...verrrrrrrry low. I replaced it today but still nothing. Where else should I be looking to fix this?
thanks!

Welcome to NICO

Open the glove compartment

If there is a switch on the left flip the switch. Mine is black so I just feel around for it.

Check your owners manual for using the valet key to prevent access to the trunk

Good luck

Hi Telcoman, thank you and Thank you :)

I did check the valet switch in the glove box, even toggling it off to on again but no change. I thought that was for the trunk only, not the doors. I cant even use the door request button to lock or unlock the doors.
If its reaaaaaaally quiet and I hit the button on the drivers door handle, I can hear the very slight *click*, so something is happening, its just not locking or unlocking the doors or trunk. Key fob remote works fine though.

If you are still under warranty take it to the dealer and let them check it out

Yeah no such luck, im about 100K On it. I dont have any faith in them anyway. I have a wheel bearing howling at me but they said they are all OK. My struts and shocks are shot too yet they say they are fine.

Try another Infiniti dealership?

Have you pulled the wheel and checked the bearing yourself? As tires age on the G I've noticed they get noisy and "howl"....or if toe is out.

I fixed it! I feel like a moron... I went through the settings in the display and found that the option was turned off. Click it back on and there ya go, works now. The question is, why did it change? Might be related to my phone book always disappearing too which drives me crazy.
just thought Id give an update.
