Hi All –Amazon has a really good deal on Polk car speakers and I'm wondering how hard it is to remove the doors for speaker installation (definitely front, but probably back as well). I did a search (both in this forum and on the intertubes) but can't find anything. I did find the great instructions here on how to swap out the stereo and hope there's something similar for speaker installation. Any help is appreciated.

But to answer your question, removing the door panels are quite simple.

The front doors, there is only 1 Phillips head screw in the door pull. Then all you do is pull the door panel away from the door. It's held in with white pop clips. It sounds like you're breaking something, but that's normal.

The rear doors are the same except there are 2 Phillips head screws. There's 1 in the door handle and another where the little ripple hooks can be attached. Remove the 2 screws and pull the panel off.
