Door locks stopped beeping

Just noticed this after my car was in for service. when i use the little rubber doorknob thingy or when using the FOB - it unloks ok just no longer beeps to affirm the lock

Could you possibly be in a hurry when using the fob and hit both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time? If you do that, it'll silence the locking beep. Do it again with both buttons and the beep should be back. Only takes two seconds holding down both of those buttons. Maye this will work for you, let me know?

yeah, just hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons down together for a couple seconds, and it should beep again. same exact thing happened to me, didnt even know i did it... i guess its a function for those who are trying to sneak in their houses at night and wanna lock their doors without their parents hearing? i dunno, i was thinking that this feature can come in handy this summer =p
