Door lock relay

Is there some kind of a door lock relay or sensor? The problem I'm having is that the passenger side door will not lock or unlock when the driver's side lock button is used. This just started a couple days ago. A minor issue I understand, but it's just a pain that you can't lock or unlock both doors at the same time. The passenger side lock works fine when using the key on that door or the button on the inside of the door.

Hmmm, interesting problem and unfortunately I am not sure about this one. I think I'd try removing the switch and inspecting for anything obvious such as corrosion or continuity, then maybe try plugging into the passenger side and see if all works. I'm sure there is some sort of relay wiring to tie the two sides together but that info would be best found in the wiring diagrams and such in the fsm, available here in the stickies. There may even be diagnostics and such for the door locks, but never had to work in that area...give it a look-see!
