I used the search bar but couldnt find anything on this subject but if I just missed it my bad. I was just wondering if you could or if anyone has changed out the amber lights on the doors for the windows/locks/etc. I cant stand that amber color anymore and wanted to change it out. But I wanted to see if you could or if anyone has before I start tearing my door apart.

are you talking about the switchs, if so yes if you can solder, you just need to tear it all apart, separate the light with desolder and go to radio shack to get a new one, then solder it in, if thats not what your talking about sorry...

There was a thread long ago where someone had a photo of the lock button disassembled to show the wiring. If you can find it, it might help show what you're going to run into. (I'd have answered sooner, but was hoping someone else could point you more directly to that thread...)

Well, I actually found the thread, but the photo links are no longer good! Maybe you can get some information from it, anyway...

In a nutshell, the lights are LEDs that are integrated into the circuit boards. Unless you feel comfortable desoldering tiny LED's and then resoldering new ones in, there's not really anything you can do.

Well dam! I hate how they put them on the little circuit boards.

I didnt read too much into it but if thats the case then I would do the mod but they are on curcuit boards according to EV and im not willing to put that much work into something so small.
