I waz thinking of doing that mod as well. But i dont think it would be a good idea to go with flat. it shows everything, the oils from your hand will turn it all blotchy. i was gonna go with a R-M gloss 2 stage, base coat /clear coat car paint. how hard is it to get those things off though? my 240sx is a pain and that thing is as bare as it gets.

Coolest thing that could be done with the door handles is to wrap them in carbon fibre and then add the Mine's dragless carbon surround. But a pair of those surrounds is nearly a grand - the coolest is never (or at least rarely) the cheapest.

hey, new on here and not sure if you've solved this issue yet or not but i recommend anodizing them, the color won't fade on the aluminum like powder coat will. i've seen it on a black and on a blue z, they look sick, on red it would look awesome tookatinkid wrote:hey guys just bought a 03' 350z red, really excited about the car, i was pretty iffy about it because they are really common but i drove it and love it:)

Carbon fiber is so 20th century! :PBesides carbon fiber doesnt do well without a poo load of UV protection. Though come to think about it maybe holograms of "z"ilver naked ladies would look good...Hmmm a naked lady ina the "Z" position...Since Im kinda of an illustrator.. more to come gents! : DBusyBadger wrote:Nope.
