I'm pretty good about the maintence on my car, anal with most things like oil changes, But I completely forgot about that stock Infiniti Battery smh. I was listening to music from my car in my garage for no more than 30 mins, and my lights were on for less than 15 mins. I got to turn on my car and it dosen't start... it completely caught me off guard as i've once left my car in the "on" position for a couple hours and my car started right up with the stock battery.

Then it donned on me.... I don't have a maintence free battery smh... I checked the 6 compartments of my battery and they were almost empty of distilled water. It took a cup and a half of distilled water to refill each of the 6 compartments. I'm so glad my battery died in my garage and not out in these storms we just had here in GA.

Don't forget about your stock Infiniti battery, lesson learned.

Mine died on their own in both the G's so I have replacements that should not need to be messed with.

wow... telcoman i think ima just replace the battery to a maintence free version next year (assuming this one makes it to next year). most batteries last about 4 years... so i figure id just replace it next year so i can have one less thing to remember to check under the hood.

what i need to get is a battery charger for my garage, it was kinda funny to ask my nieghbor for a jump and they ask where is my car, and I responded "in my garage". lol
