Does the s13 and s14 VLSD length make a diffrence?

Ok i have a 92 240sx and just got me a s14 VLDS. Now i see the diff has a sensor on the front of it, abs i guess. But its the length and diffrent? Reason i ask is the car has a 2 piece drive shaft and looks as if the dif was any longer The shaft would not bolt up. any help is apriciated? thanks guys

should work, we're only talking like a half inch difference here.

the driveshaft center coupling has enough play in it so you can push the driveshaft forward and bolt it up to the diff.

Im using a late 94 J30 diff with the same abs part sticking out.

Sweet thanks man, I just ordered the s14 bolts as my car is a s13. this is what i was told i would need. Some thing about the bushings need the s14 bolts?
