Just a quick correction, Rogue is based on the Sentra and not the Altima.

And even if it were available, it probably would not be available everywhere. The Altima Hybrid is only available in 10 or so states.

Considering the headway that hybrids are making in the market, with Honda, Toyota and even Ford and other domestics diving in, I wouldn't be suprised if we saw some hybrids popping up in the future. My guess is that the Sentra or Versa would probably be next, but with the Highlander and Escape both having hybrid functionality, its only a matter of time before the RAV4 and CR-V are on board too.

Though with the Rogue already being top of its class in the fuel efficiency race, I doubt that Nissan developers are tripping over themselves to get a hybrid engine on a vehicle that hasn't even proved itself in the marketplace yet. My guess is they'd invest the R&D time and money on a more proven model.
