I am really undecided. I love the new one, but the recent one is classy too.

I guess the look is a love it or hate look, if I had the newer model I probably go for it, the grill on the 11m37 looks good to me, just my 2c, some other bruh's will chime in later as well

I like the new grill and headlights but I don't like the new fog lights. In the back I like the taillights but not the flattened out trunk lid.

I like this. It's bold and it's stylish. I think Infiniti has always been at the forefront of uniqueness.

I like it as well, I would convert my front end if it was available.

For the front you need the headlights and the bumper, for the rear you need the taillights, bumper and trunk lid. I think you could do it but it wouldn't be cheap. I really like the shape/design of the new grill. I would like to see a direct replacement with that design to fit the current M's.

The headlights and taillights will swap right in. The sheet metal around them is unchanged. And knowing Nissan, it's most likely a direct swap too.

I like the new grill but the pattern looks kinda Lexus-ish.

I don't know man; the front bumper cover looks way different as far as fit to the headlights. The fender I am sure is the same.

The rear tail lights would probably fit, as the qtr panel is no doubt the same. The trunk finisher (above license plate) appears to be different; whether that matters or not is questionable, but probably not an issue.

I do like how they incorporated the "infiniti" into this panel; like the 06-10 M series was. I hated the individual lettering, and removed them first chance I got.

I agree, the new headlight has rounded ends vs more sharp ends on the M. No way it would fit.

The fender side of the headlights are the same but he bumpers are different.

Did they change the rear bumper cover and trunk lid? Those bastards! lol
Now that I look closer (hard to really see on the black car pictured above) it appears as though the inside tail lights do cut further in, and there seems to be a bigger "hump" where a spoiler would go.....

You're saying for the entire conversion. I'm saying for just the headlights and taillights. The taillights are 100% the same shape, just a different housing - they should be a direct drop in, assuming all of the wiring remains the same. The headlights do look sharper at the very end upon a very close look...

We must be looking at two different things. The Q taillight is quite different shape than M. Just look at the side by side pics.

I would love to swap out the rear lights on my M for those new ones. They are amazing.

Ugh. Yeah, I just looked at the hi-res press shots on Infiniti's press site...and they are different. The new ones slope down and flow longer into the trunk.

I am yet to see one of these in person, but from these pics, I may be inclined to upgrade sooner than I thought. For those thinking of converting to this look in the distant future, it looks to be an expensive one. Think; Front bumper, upper and lower grill inserts, headlights and fog lights. For the rear; probably a new truck lid, rear bumper and tail lights. The rest of the body panels are probably the same as the 11-14 model year. (Lol, :nono: , no i'm not thinking of swapping parts ). I would much rather just trade up. But I can only imagine that these thoughts would come up sooner or later from someone.

Oh, and those new mirrors should have started appearing in 2011; it's a shame this car didn't come with mirror covered turn indicators.

Thanks for doing the side by side....

One of the things I dislike most about my car is the rear end. Now that I've tinted the windows it's gotten better...but to me, it seems to small compared to the front. It's like the car is getting squeezed as it goes back lol.

I LOVE the new car all around more than the one I have, but I couldn't afford it so I settled for an update from my 2007. I love the M model and I'll keep buying them so long as they keep being such a great car (IMO). So, in 5 years, I'll be in a 2015 or 2016, as I keep my cars around 5 years and buy lease turn-ins.

Yeah, that new rear end looks a little better than our's. I think the addition of the reflectors and that line just above the exhaust make all the difference. And the tail lights are growing on me more and more.

BTW.... I just recently found out that the front upper grille on our cars is not perfectly straight across underneath the emblem. I had attempted to remove my emblem/badge last week after noticing that it was peeling. And upon the removal, had to put it back because the grille has a large indention where the emblem sits.. I'll drop the car off on Monday to have the front end re-sprayed and corrected to fix the peel.
