I just wanted to ask if I install wheel spacer on my car, what will differ other than the look? I mean handling.. safety..etc?Everything will remain the same except the look?

Well, contrary to popular belief, wheel spacers aren't dangerous unless you overdue them. I'm running 18x8 +45 wheels and use an 8mm spacer, essentially making me a +37 offset, to push me out to the lip. I can't suggest anything for your car because I don't know anything about Versa's. But, I can tell you that I have no problems and I've been running mine for about 2 months. No vibrations at higher speeds or anything; however, using wheel spacers will increase stud loads. A good rule of thumb is not to go over 5mm and you should be safe.

This is just my opinion and I'm sure others may disagree. Just letting you know that I run 8mm with no probs.

I haven't heard good things about them. I do agree that properly fitting wheels are much better of a choice.

get wheels that fit, spacers are ghetto at best, dangerous at worse.

Unfortunately, my wheels only came in a +45 so I had to do it up ghetto style with the spacers. There was nothing I could do about it

If you can find the wheel you want fit your car perfect then that would be the best. But I know people that would drift with spacers and never had problems.

Having used spacers on hundreds of car from our shop I can say, as others did, that spacers are dangerous only if you do it wrong. Use full plate spacers, not washers! And you will get slightly more negative camber. RECHECK AND RESET TOE !!!The rule is : do not use any spacer that reduces thread engagement less than 9 threads (safely equal to the 12mm lug bolt diameter on 1.25 pitch.). Generally that means about 3 mm or 1/8" spacers from a reputable source. Certainly no more than 1/4"or 6 mm if you still have 9 threads engagement.DO NOT LET SOMEONE CONVENIENVE YOU 3 THREADS IS ALL YOU NEED. For references consult any mechanical engineering handbook. Doubt if you'll see much change in looks either - if you do it right.good luck.
