do i have a sr hanress???

ok well while i was redoing my wiring harness whiel my moto was out, i found out some not so cool things.

when i first got my motor, there was a cut harness on my motor, then it came with another harness. when i went to plug in the harness (uncut) the plugs for the injecotrs wouldnt pop on, the little indent on the injecotrs or the little groove thing was too the side, where on the ca injecotrs they are in the middle. so i spliced the plugs off the cut harness on to the uncut harness so they would plug in. now that i am going back soldering instead of using crimp style connectors, i was reading to amke sure i had the right injecotr plug colors so i knew the plugs went to the right cylinder. well on the ca harness the colors go cylinder one, green/ green and black stripe, but on the sr harness its green and red wires, mine all have the red wires wich is power on the sr harness for injectors.

somethings that make me think it could be a ca harness is i spliced the knock sensor and o2 sensor wire to the oppropriate sensor for the ca18 plugs, ie knock sensor # 23 etc and i wanst throwing codes...

also the motor was shaking but i think this was becuase of bad compression and possibly having the plugs wrong not sure...

but then the coilpakcs pluged in fine, and CAS etc.

well any help would be great i am soooo lost right now

also i have aq number 99 ecu lol ca18 is 65 auto 78 manual i think also my ecu could be 66

also again standard eprom for auto jap model is mec-d015 wich is hwat my smaller serial number is, so i have auato ca18 ecu, and on the sr harness the pin 23 is check start or soemthing and 29 is the sensor ground so my knock sensor was my check start and my o2 sensor was my sensor ground lol. i guess now i am just questioninign my harness...

That was a little confusing, but it does kinda sound like you've got an SR harness. did you have to move anything else around the intake manifold area to get it plug in?

no i didnt, everything else seemed to work ok.

it seems as if the sr harness pigatil connector wouldnt bolt in to the ca ecu so im kinda stuck there

i think i got a ca18de harness possibly from japan....

also, i guess im just gonna find someone local with a sr and check out there harness and compare them
