It's a great upgrade. It helped balance out the front/rear braking from my J30 front brake upgrade.

This mod only works with 87-89 Z31 Rear Caliper Brackets! 84-86 Z31 brackets will cause pad overlap and swaybar end link interference.

Hmm..I do have a bit of overlap, but I can't remember which year Z31 I got my brackets from. I'll have to pull the paperwork from the yard I bought them at.

I know its late but I was wondering if the rear rotors from a Sentra Se-R would work since they are already four lug? I have J30 calipers up front and used Sentra Se-R rotors (I believe 2000-2005) since I have a four lug 240. Thanks in advance

Hey,
I want upgrade rear brake on my S13 but i have 200sx not 240sx. My S13 have drums (for handbrake) on rear, so i want use rotor from Nissan Tiida (292mm x 9mm and height 62mm, e.g. Brembo 08.A715.20) but i don't know if will work.

Anyone knows the dimensions Altima rotor? or brembo parts number
I think that the diameter is 291-292mm and thickness 9mm, but i don't know total height this rotor.

sorry for my english

Hi luki343, welcome to NICO Club!

A few things. Look at the date of the post you reply to. This one was dated 05 May 2012. It's way old for a discussion topic. Try not to resurrect old stuff, maybe a year tops, or start your own thread. You could have introduced yourself in the same thread. Also, you posted the same question twice, in two different areas, at the same time. Try to post once and give someone a few days to respond before starting more conversations. So, I'll answer here and let the other post lay.

If you haven't upgraded your front rotors, then your rear might not need anything. So I assume you have done something to the front. Do you know how much bigger the pad contact area is in front and if it moved from the center? You probably want the same percentage of upgrade in the rear for bias.

There's a handful of OEM brake options. This wiki page has some pretty useful information.

As far as your question for Altima size, I looked, but found lots of information based on trim and year. So, maybe you can pick a year and ask or look for yourself. Each year has a FSM and the FSM will have the rotor size for that year. Please see this link for Altima FSM by year and go to the BR chapter...

For Tida sizes, see the FSM for Versa...

In my S13 on front i have S14 caliper with Murano 320mm x 30mm rotor, so i want just bigger rotor on rear. I don't want upgrade to 300zx/350z because it need upgrade master cylinder (too much $$$). From FSM i know that Altima rear rotors are 292mm x 9mm but nothing about this rotors height.

Rear rotors on 240sx s13 have smaller total height than this from 200SX s13, because 200sx have drum handbrake. So if altima rotors height is similar to 240sx, it wouldn't work in my S13 (not enough space for handbrake).

Do you have parts stores where you live? The Altima is pretty common, so I suspect the rotors are in stock and you could simply ask them to take a box out and measure the cap thickness on your own.

Have you considered having matching S14 front and rear? Yes, the drum would go away. I'm not a fan of drum anything myself. I really like just having pads and rotors on mine.

If you go to an American parts store website for AutoZone, like below, you can enter the year make and model, look at rear rotors and the images have measurements on them that you're looking for. The numbers are in millimeters even. Here is a link to one particular rotor. You could branch out from there.

I think you cut the dust shield and use z32/q45 brakes... convert the e-brake line. The GKtechs look nice.
