You know this was/is such a good/valuable post and I'm happy to see people use it and benefit form it like I did. Just wanted to post a few pics of my intake which I reworked and learned so much from this post.

I polished and removed all the casting and parting marks on the top portion of intake.

Well I can't yet attest to the effectiveness of the pulley yet, they do expect a little better throttle response. You gotta love the color haha... and it DOES look better than stock pulley, especially if you have no crusie control.

For those of you that removed the butterflies, the rod that goes through each of the runners, did you seal all the holes it goes through or just the first one that leads to the outside of the intake unner? I JB welded it today, and wasnt sure if I should do the rest of them as well.

i've never done it, but i would assume you should seal all the holes. or get your hands on a s14 upper intake manifold. it doesnt come with the butterflies, and it'll bolt right onto your s13 lower manifold with no problem. thats what i did with mine. much easier. i bought the mani on ebay for 20 bucks plus shipping

I ended up JB welding them up real nicely.

Anyone know what the nipple directly under the throttle body is for. The one thats angled to the left, I think its another vaccuum source but Im just makeing sure.

I never said that these modifications could be performed without throwing codes. I'm actually 99.99% sure that you WOULD through codes, especially with an OBDII car such as yours.

That said, the procedure is pretty similar for the S14. There is more stuff back there, but the things you need to keep (IACV and related parts, basically) are pretty much the same.

Looking at my throttle body... I notice 3 metal tubes, what should be done with these?

Well I realized that one of them is just straight through, so it wont be a big deal to leave it unplugged. The smaller one that comes out of the throttle body diagonally is the only one I have to work about now. Any suggestions on it?

Hey Fiz, quick question. Would you happen to know the size of that hose going to the PCV valve? Or a guess even?

Hey Fiz,The small bunch of hardlines that were removed (connected to the charcol can) they lead to small hardlines right behind the cyl head... can these get capped off? Thanks

I got rid of the egr and put everything back together. But I can't seem to figure out where the line from the fuel pressure regulator goes. There is a little pipe, beside the brake booster line on the air intake manifold, but if I put the hose to that the car idles really high for a few seconds then falls down and stalls. If I take it off and plug that hole and let the fuel regulator not attached to anything the car runs but it boggs down and runs really ruff. Mind you it seems much faster: . So where does this line from the fpr go? Or what have I done wrong. A picture of where you guys put the line would be much appreciated.
