No. They turn on when the door opens. They turn off when the door closes.

So, they are all on when one door opens? or the one on the door thats opened turns on? That would be awesome to have it come on when you unlock the car. Also, where did you wire them to? I can't really tell by your pictures...

yea i didnt include a picture of the actual wiring, but their all wired up to the dome light... so yea they do turn on when u unlock it with the remote haha (also, when any door is opened, they all turn on.....when all doors are closed, they all turn off)... the actual wiring goes like this: soldered wires from the dome light (one negative wire, one positive wire), routed it down thru the left A-pillar, once those wires are underneath the dash (driver's side)i soldered another set of wires and routed those underneath the dash to the passenger side... now i have a pair of negative and positive wires, one pair on the drivers side, one pair on the passenger side.. now anything i install and tap into those wires, it will turn on with the dome light...

basically their wired the exact same way as the dome light...so just picture whenever the dome light is on (whether u unlock the car with remote, open any door, or turn the dome light on using its switch) then the LEDs will be on also.. so yea if im driving down the road, and i turn on the dome light, the LEDs will turn on also, but it doesnt bother me cause they look cool at night

hi, sorry for asking. But where do you find the wire to tap for the 'dome light'? Is it on the fuse box? Im looking at installing door lights, that operates just like the dome light (turned on when the doors are open and gradually fades off when the doors are closed).

Well that was fun. Did this 2 days ago took about 4 hours( I know it could have been done faster but i have never worked on a car before) I did mine in white though.

HA nice!!! just saw your LED logo pic, but mine is gonna look a lil different...its going to have the same white glow, but also the "NISSAN" part will illuminate as well... plus it will turn red when i hit the brakes... plus im also doing the front grille logo but that one will only be white...wayyyyyy ahead of me? think again haha
